There’s a number of Savage Worlds Kickstarters coming up on their endpoints, and they’re all fantastic additions to the amazing library of places and ways to play one of the world’s favorite game systems.
Mythic: Ennam & Saduri – 50 HOURS TO GO
Mythic is a setting for the Savage Worlds RPG system based on the myths and legends of ancient Earth.
Mythic: Ennam & Saduri is an expansion book for the Mythic campaign setting for the Savage Worlds roleplaying game, which takes several cultures and mythologies from real world Earth and places them all together in a new and unique world. The Mythic setting book includes three cultures and mythologies: Pridith, based on the Celts; Illosia, based on the Greeks; and Niserri, based on the Egyptians. Mythic: Ennam & Saduri adds two new cultures and mythologies: Ennam, based on Mesopotamia; and Siduri, based on Vedic India.
This supplemental book includes new character creation information for creating characters from the new Saduri and Ennam cultures, as well as rules for summoning and binding the numerous demonic entities that plague both of these civilizations. Each culture is described in detail, including descriptions of some of the major deities from each culture’s pantheon. Finally, Mythic: Ennam and Saduri contains a bestiary that includes stats and descriptions for 25 creatures pulled from Mesopotamian and Vedic Indian mythology.

This game ain’t about heroes, per se. More like antiheroes. Join the Goon’s crime syndicate—or play as Goon, Franky, and the rest of their crew—and fight off the rival gangs what’s encroachin’ on your turf, while you collect on Goon’s debts and whatnot. You might also succeed at fighting off the tide of bleak suffering that’s set to consume yer soul. Then again you might not!
But while you’re contemplatin’ the psychology and so forth, make sure to watch out for Zombie Priest and his legions of groanin’, brain-chomping zombies; they’re a constant hassle. If that ain’t bad enough, there’s crazed-yet-brilliant Dr. Hieronymus Alloy and his robots goin’ on a rampage every other week. You also want to keep a lookout for swarms of chug-heads…what they call “changelings.” Yeah. They’re nasty little buggers.

Shaintar: Thundering Skies RPG Campaign – 14 DAYS TO GO
Shaintar is the Epic High Fantasy setting from Sean Patrick Fannon for the award winning Savage Worlds tabletop roleplay system.
This is Shaintar’s first plot point campaign, complete with Savage Tales and all the trimmings.
The living campaign is a form of collaborative storytelling. It’s pretty amazing and here’s how it works: every game that takes place in the community affects the story line for that year. The events of one group may affect others while progressing the overall story arc to a dramatic conclusion.
Best of all, events that happen in Justice & Life change the world, permanently. They become part of the lore of Shaintar, so participants from all over the world have a chance to write the future of the entire setting.
In 2013 the year in Shaintar was 3123… the year of Thundering Skies.
Shaintar’s first worldwide campaign event saw strange beings appear – wind wraiths, lightning elementals and storm magi, among many others. These elemental beings weren’t from Shaintar, but the storm magi were native beings transformed by the Godstrike Tempest. Intelligent and powerful, they’d figured out how to control these storm beasts and used them as a powerful combat force to fulfill their secret master’s agenda.
Who’s the secret master? What’s the agenda? Justice & Life was mobilized. Heroes scrambled to defend Shaintar and repel the attacks, to investigate and strike back.
That’s the basic story, but what’s next?
