Trail of the Apprentice (PF/5e) – Kickstarter Pick, 032916

My friend, Rachel Ventura and the awesome folks at Legendary Games have a Kickstarter going that will bring the magic of either Pathfinder or 5th Edition to the table for the entire family!

This action-packed 5-part adventure saga for Pathfinder RPG and 5E is an amazing introduction to new or younger players & gamemasters.

When we want to bring new gamers into the hobby, whether friends our age or younger players, starter sets and boxes for beginners are great, but not enough. That’s why we created Legendary Beginnings, products designed to be tons of fun for experienced gamers but with structure and content suitable for beginners, young and old. Now we’d like to take that to a whole new level with a 5-part series of exciting adventures, suitable for all ages, the Trail of the Apprentice!

These adventure modules use simplified stat blocks and other rules adjustments to keep gameplay fun and fast for new players, with helpful sidebars that provide advice on how to run RPGs for younger gamers so your whole family can Make Your Game Legendary!

A hidden danger threatens the kingdom of Threll and brave adventurers must answer the call! A bold attack and a mysterious theft set a group of heroes on a mission to find the mastermind behind them. They must follow clues, face terrible threats, and uncover ancient secrets to stop a madman before he can unleash a terrible evil upon the world.

Each adventure covers 1 level of characters, from 1st to 5th, and each is approximately 32 pages. Each adventure will be available as a separate PDF, and backers at the Thief’s Pledge level and above also will receive an approximately 160-page PDF compilation of all 5 adventures PLUS all bonus material funded through the campaign. The more we raise in this campaign, the more bonus content we can provide for everyone!

For those who prefer print, all backers at the Oracle’s Pledge and above also will receive a hardcover compilation of all adventures plus all bonus material, in addition to the individual PDFs and PDF compilation.
